Biography

Dmitriy Chumak is a professional choreographer and instructor with 17 years experience in performing and teaching latin dance. With his lovely wife Oksana and they run the Latin Nightclub program at Viva Dance. Their philosophy in teaching is to keep you moving non-stop so that you directly train your muscle memory. The results are fast learning and lots of fun!

Accomplishments

Dmitriy was a champion in International Latin Dancesport in his province in the Ukraine before he came to Canada. Now he and Oksana focus on latin nightclub dancing, teaching group classes in salsa and other latin dances.

Dmitriy and Oksana run the highly successful salsa dance practice every Sunday night at Viva Dance. They also enjoy going dancing with their students at various Salsa Festivals.
